This new resource contains the latest state-level data on demographics, health, and health policy, including health coverage, access, financing, and state legislation. This program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health bureau (MCHB).
Health Coverage Web site (www.HealthCare.gov) This database of health coverage options combines information about public programs, including Medicaid and the new Pre-Existing Conditions Insurance Plan, with information from more than 1,000 private insurance plans. The Web site will be a one-stop shop for families information about the implementation of the Affordable Care Act as well as other health care resources.
